Glutathione Uses and Side Effects What is Glutathione? Glutathione is a substance made from the amino acids glycine, cysteine and glutamic acid. It is produced by your liver and involved in many body processes. Glutathione is involved in tissue building and repair, making chemicals and proteins needed in the body, and in immune system function. What are the Different Name of Glutathione? Gamma-Glutamylcysteinylglycine Gamma-L-Glutamyl-L-Cysteinylglycine Gamma-L-Glutamyl-L-Cystéinylglycine Glutathion, Glutatión L-Gamma-Glutamyl-L-Cysteinyl-Glycine L-Gamma-Glutamyl-L-Cystéinyl-Glycine L-Glutathion L-Glutathione GSH N-(N-L-gamma-Glutamyl-L-cysteinyl)glycine Why should I take Glutathione? There are few good uses of Glutathione. People take glutathione for aging, alcohol use disorder, liver disease, heart disease, and many other conditions, but there is no good scientific evidence to support these
Cambridge Published traceability of New Coronavirus, most common in the United States
A
sudden epidemic disrupted people's original rhythm of life. At present,
COVID-19 has become a global pandemic. Since the outbreak, the
questioning about where the virus came from has not stopped.
Recently,
researchers from the University of Cambridge published a study on the
traceability of new coronavirus in the Proceedings of the American Academy of Sciences (PANS). There are three types of C, and these three types of viruses have different global distributions.
The
researchers discovered the three different but closely related virus
types by mapping the genetic development history of the new coronavirus
from December 2019 to March this year. Then they found 160 different
infection types collected from around the world. The trajectory of New
Coronavirus spreading around the world.
Most Infected patients are from the West Coast not NY
Surprisingly,
type A-the most primitive strain, considered to be the ancestor of the
new coronavirus spread from bats to humans-although it was first
discovered in China, it is most common in the United States.
The
study found that two-thirds of US samples are infected with virus A,
but most of the infected patients are from the West Coast, not New
York-New York is currently the epicenter of the US epidemic.
Of 93 type B Infected samples, except 19, all distributed in China
As
for Type B-which is believed to have been mutated from Type A in
China-it is the most common in East Asia. Of the 93 samples infected
with type B, except 19, all are distributed in China or Asian countries
adjacent to China. Specifically, there are 22 samples from Wuhan, 31
from eastern China and other regions, and 21 from Asian countries close
to China.
Although
there is currently no answer as to why type B is the most common in
China, the researchers speculate that it may be because type B is the
most capable of attacking Chinese immunity, so no mutation is needed.
Finally,
Type C-considered to be derived from Type B, does not exist in the
mainland China sample, but it is very common in Europe. Researchers
think it may have spread through Singapore.
Based
on the above conclusions, the researchers believe that in order to
accurately attack the immune system of different people, the new
coronavirus is constantly mutating. The research can help predict the
future hotspots of the global epidemic spread and surge.
However,
although the above research results have been peer-reviewed, because of
the small sample it analyzes-only samples from 160 patients around the
world are tracked, it is unknown whether it is universal. To remedy this
limitation, the research team has now updated their data to include
more than 1,000 COVID-19 cases by the end of March (the sample has not
been peer-reviewed).
New York epidemic has multiple chains of transmission, but mainly from Europe
In
addition, two other studies have given answers to why New York’s virus
infection is different from the West Coast of the United States.
According
to the latest genetic studies conducted by the Icahn School of Medicine
at Mount Sinai in New York and the New York University School of
Medicine, the new coronavirus began to spread in New York as early as
mid-February Said that in the weeks before the first confirmed case in
New York, it was mainly travelers from Europe who brought the virus, not
travelers from Asia.
Both
teams have analyzed the new coronavirus genome from confirmed cases in
New York since mid-March. The study found that the new coronavirus was
likely to spread in a hidden state earlier.
Not all New York virus samples are from Europe
The
study also pointed out that not all New York virus samples are from
Europe. Some of them seem to come from the west coast of the United
States, while others seem to be directly related to Asia. This shows
that there are many chains of spread in New York
